In my three decade journey in digital transformation, scaling data and AI globally across different industries, I have come to appreciate that Governance is often misunderstood as a dry, "braking system" or a compliance hurdle. As a board member of "AI first" start-ups and scale-ups I have seen that without governance it is impossible to scale fast. I founded digitalforward.ai to frame intentional and effective leadership governance processes as the engine of value creation and scalability. Without governance, AI is a prototype; with it, AI is a predictable, scalable asset. I have co-founded the Frugal AI Hub at the Judge Business School in Cambridge to focus on intentional architectures in AI that are mindful of nature footprints and human accessibility realities in different parts of the world.
